The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has cautioned against accommodating individuals he described as “unstable” in their political allegiance.
He urged the party to prioritise loyalty and commitment.
Speaking during his “Thank You Tour” of the Ashanti Region, Mr. Asiedu Nketia said the party does not need members who frequently switch affiliations, stressing that committed and dedicated members are key to sustaining electoral success.
“We want loyal and committed members. Those who move from one side to another should be avoided,” he stated.
Mr. Asiedu Nketia, however, expressed gratitude to supporters and voters for their contribution to the party’s electoral victory, noting that the success was driven largely by grassroots efforts.
He also urged members to reward hardworking executives during the ongoing branch reorganisation, emphasising the need to retain dedicated individuals ahead of future elections.
