Matchday 29 of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League delivered a weekend of drama and unexpected results across the country, with late goals and emphatic victories reshaping both ends of the table.

At the Nana Agyemang Badu II Park in Dormaa, Aduana FC left it late to edge Bibiani GoldStars 2-1 in a pulsating encounter on Friday. After a quiet first half, Benjamin Tsivanyo broke the deadlock in the 59th minute with a composed finish to give the hosts the lead.

The visitors, who sit atop the league standings, responded strongly and restored parity through Razack Sanou with 11 minutes remaining, capitalising on a defensive lapse. Just when the contest appeared headed for a draw, Aduana were awarded a stoppage-time penalty, and Emmanuel Marfo calmly converted to snatch all three points for the Ogya Boys.

At the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex, Vision FC pulled off a surprise 1-0 victory over Hearts of Oak. In a tightly contested match, Benjamin Kwarteng struck deep into added time to hand the hosts a crucial win against the Phobians.

Dreams FC produced one of the standout performances of the weekend, thrashing Eleven Wonders 5-1 at the Tuba Astro Turf on Sunday. The visitors initially took the lead through Eden Kofi in the 35th minute, but Dreams responded emphatically after the break. Seidu Suraj equalised just two minutes into the second half before John Antwi made it 2-1 in the 56th minute.

Jonathan Nemorden added a third in the 64th minute, and Suraj grabbed his second of the afternoon in the 74th minute. Godfred Sarpong capped off the rout with a late goal to seal a dominant victory.

Bechem United were handed all three points after Hohoe United failed to honour their fixture, following their decision to withdraw from the league.

At the Aliu Mahama Stadium, Karela United and Heart of Lions played out a 2-2 draw in an entertaining clash. Michael Ephson gave the visitors an early lead in the 14th minute, but Eric Antwi Konadu equalised seven minutes later.

Chauncy Freeman restored the visitors’ advantage in the 74th minute, only for Konadu to strike again and complete his brace, ensuring the spoils were shared.

Elsewhere, Medeama SC recorded a resounding 4-0 victory over Asante Kotoko. Manuel Mantey opened the scoring in the 14th minute before Kelvin Obeng doubled the lead on the half-hour mark. Salim Adams extended the advantage to 3-0 before the break and added his second shortly after halftime to complete a commanding performance.

Nations FC also secured a comfortable 2-0 win over Basake Holy Stars at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Stadium, with Samuel Tetteh netting early to set the tone for the Abrankese-based side.

FC Samartex edged Berekum Chelsea 1-0 at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena, courtesy of an early strike from Mohammed Alhassan Mankuyeli in the eighth minute.

Young Apostles boosted their survival hopes with a narrow 1-0 win over Swedru All Blacks at the Wenchi Stadium, with Richmond Opoku’s early effort proving decisive.
