The Member of Parliament for Asutifi North in the Ahafo Region, Ebenezer Kwaku Addo, has intensified efforts to improve telecommunication access in rural communities within the constituency.

The initiative forms part of measures aimed at enhancing connectivity and improving the living conditions of residents in underserved areas.

Speaking to Adom News during the delivery of telephony equipment to Kojokrom and Kramokrom, the MP noted that several communities in the constituency currently lack access to reliable network services, making communication difficult for residents.

He explained that technical experts would soon be deployed to install and activate the equipment to enable residents to access telecommunication services.

According to him, five communities; Kojokrom, Kramokrom, Obengkrom, Nsuta, and Yawusukrom, are expected to benefit from the intervention in the initial phase.

Mr. Addo assured constituents of his commitment to expanding telephony access across more rural areas, stressing that improved connectivity is essential for development.

Some residents, including Esther Agyemang, Ahmed Aziz Fuseni, and Nana Okyere Boakye, expressed appreciation for the initiative, describing it as a long-awaited intervention.

They recounted the difficulties they have faced over the years, noting that in search of network signals, some residents were forced to climb trees or move around in search of reception.

They said the project would significantly ease communication challenges and improve daily life in the affected communities.
