Ghanaian comedian and actor Jeneral Ntatia has called for greater collaboration among skit makers and content creators in Ghana, urging them to take a cue from their Nigerian counterparts.
Speaking on DayBreak Hitz on Hitz FM, he noted that in countries like Nigeria, comedians and skit makers often collaborate on projects, a practice that helps expand their reach and overall impact.
According to him, the situation in Ghana is quite different, as many creators prefer to work individually rather than as a collective.
He cited his own experience working with Kalybos, Bismark The Joke, and Prince David Osei, noting that their collaboration produced one of their best works.
Jeneral Ntatia encouraged both emerging and established skit makers to combine their talents and resources to create stronger, more impactful content.
He emphasized that increased collaboration has the potential to elevate Ghana’s skit-making industry and help creators reach wider audiences.
