In a remarkable display of compassion, Rev. Christie Doe Tetteh has donated items valued at 138,000 cedis to the Accra Psychiatric Hospital as part of her 70th birthday celebrations.

The donation, made in the company of the church’s leadership led by the Founder and General Overseer, and witnessed by the Mayor of Accra, forms part of a broader platinum jubilee celebration honouring a woman widely regarded as the “mother of charismatism” in Ghana.

The items presented included 70 mattresses, 200 packs of water, diapers, tin tomatoes, 200 pieces of washing powder, 2,800 rolls of toilet tissue, 50 packs of drinks, as well as essential food supplies such as rice, maize, beans, gari, and cooking oil. The gesture is expected to significantly support the daily needs and welfare of patients at the facility.

This act of generosity is not an isolated one. Ahead of her birthday, Rev. Doe Tetteh, fondly known as Mama Christie, extended similar kindness to schools in Kwabenya and the Victoria Foundation in Kisseiman, where she donated educational materials and other relief items.

Her latest outreach underscores a lifelong commitment to humanitarian service, blending faith with impactful community support. As she celebrates this milestone, many have praised her for setting a powerful example of giving and social responsibility.
