Dr. Kingsley Agyemang, Member of Parliament for Abuakwa South in the Eastern Region, has extended Easter support to more than a thousand elderly residents across Akyem Nkronso, Akyem Apapam, and Akyem Asikam.
On April 4, 2026, the MP personally distributed items including bags of rice, crates of eggs, pieces of African print cloth, and cash donations of GH¢200 each to the beneficiaries.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Agyemang wished the elderly good health and long life, while highlighting the meaning behind some of the items presented.
“Eggs symbolize life, so the crate of eggs provided to you today is life,” he said, reaffirming his dedication to supporting vulnerable people within his constituency.

The event was also attended by Mr. Ortis Asante, the Abuakwa South NPP Chairman, together with members of his executive team.
The outreach formed part of the MP’s Easter activities, aimed at showing appreciation and care to senior citizens who have contributed to the development of their communities. Many of the beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the gesture, describing it as timely and impactful.
