Ghanaian musician Camidoh has weighed in on the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) Artiste of the Year category, describing it as competitive but incomplete without Kweku Smoke.
Speaking on DayBreak Hitz on Hitz FM, Camidoh acknowledged the strength of the nominees, which include Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Medikal, Diana Hamilton, Black Sherif, and Wendy Shay.
He described the category as both “tough and exciting,” given the calibre of artistes nominated.
However, he noted that he would have loved to see Kweku Smoke included, citing the rapper’s hard work and strong performances during the year under review.
“I would have loved to see Kweku Smoke in there because he worked hard and performed really well,” he added
Camidoh emphasized that Kweku Smoke has proven himself as a dedicated and talented artiste who delivered impressive shows and music, making him deserving of recognition at that level.
He added that he is rooting for Kweku Smoke’s continued success in the industry.
