The Ghana Police Service has arrested 49-year-old John Kwabena Owusu Ansah in connection with a viral video in which he threatened High Court judge Justice Patricia Quansah.
John was apprehended on Thursday, March 27, 2026, in an intelligence-led operation at his hideout in Antoakrom, Ashanti Region.
In a statement, the Police said the video contained threats, abusive language, and unfounded allegations accusing Justice Quansah of criminal conduct, raising concerns about her safety and the integrity of the Judiciary.
The arrest was executed by officers from the Cyber Vetting and Enforcement Team following a period of monitoring and investigation.
The suspect is currently in Police custody assisting with investigations and is expected to be put before court in due course.
