President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Okraku, has assured that the Black Stars are ready to take on any challenge as they gear up for the 2026 World Cup.

Okraku made the remarks during the launch of the Black Stars’ Fundraising Campaign at the Kempinski Hotel on Friday, March 20.

Ghana, making their fifth appearance at the tournament, have been drawn in Group L alongside Panama, England, and Croatia.

The Black Stars will open their campaign against Panama on June 17, face England on June 23, and conclude the group stage against Croatia on June 27.

“Today, we are very confident that the intangible assets that we have produced over time, the intangible assets that have been put together by coach [Otto] Addo and his team, we will make Ghana proud,” Mr Okraku said.

“We will go into this tournament with our chest up, ready to fight for the strip and ready to change our story. We fear no foe and believe me, Ghana football will speak,” he added.

As part of their World Cup preparations, the Black Stars will play two key friendlies: against Austria in Vienna on March 27, followed by a clash with Germany in Stuttgart on March 30.

Their preparations will conclude with matches against Mexico in May and Wales in June.
