The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Kpando, Killian Donkor, has reiterated the Assembly’s readiness to support infrastructure development at the Margaret Marquart Catholic Nursing Training College.

He made this known in an interview with Adom News correspondent, Odehyeba Owusu Job, shortly after the college marked its fifth anniversary with a fundraising event aimed at mobilising resources for expansion.

According to the MCE, the steady rise in student enrolment and the institution’s rapid development make it necessary to invest in additional facilities to sustain quality teaching and learning.

He emphasised that the Assembly recognises the critical role the college plays in producing skilled healthcare professionals who serve both the municipality and the country.

Mr Donkor added that the Assembly will continue to work closely with school authorities and other stakeholders to improve infrastructure, including lecture halls, student accommodation, and other essential amenities.

He further praised the leadership of the college for its commitment and foresight over the past five years, describing the institution as a significant contributor to healthcare delivery in the Volta Region. He also used the opportunity to offer guidance to both students and management.
