The newly appointed Board Chairman of Asante Kotoko, James Osei Brown, made his first official engagement with the club’s technical team and players, pledging his unwavering support.
The introduction took place on Wednesday, March 18, during a training session at Adako Jachie, where Interim Management Committee (IMC) Chairman Nana Apinkra Akwasi Awuah formally presented Osei Brown to the squad.
Addressing the players and coaching staff, Osei Brown emphasized his commitment to backing the team both on and off the field.
He encouraged them to remain focused and resilient as they prepare for their upcoming Matchday 26 fixture against Nations FC at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.
The visit signals the new board’s intent to strengthen its relationship with the squad and inject fresh energy into the club’s campaign, particularly after a period of inconsistent performances.
Currently, the Porcupine Warriors sit fifth on the league table with 39 points, and the team will be looking to draw inspiration from the chairman’s support.
Osei Brown will be assisted by Kwasi Osei Ofori as his deputy, with Kofi Amoa-Abban serving as a board member.
