The Chief Executive Officer of Medeama SC, James Essilfie, believes the club is on track to achieve a historic domestic double in the ongoing 2025/26 season.

The Tarkwa-based club has been impressive in the ongoing campaign and currently sits top of the Premier League table with 46 points.

The Yellow and Mauve have also advanced to the semi-finals of the MTN FA Cup after securing a 3-0 victory over Attram De Visser Academy and will now face Dreams FC.

Speaking to Medeama FM, Mr Essilfie expressed strong confidence in the team’s ability to deliver both silverware.

“We are on course to win a historic double this season. We went through a spell of about five matches where we struggled to score, but I believe that issue has now been resolved. We’re now scoring, and we hope that momentum continues for us,” he said.

Medeama shifts attention to the league as they go away to Dreams FC on Sunday, March 22, as they keep pushing to win the Premier League title.
