Residents of Awutu Bentum near Bontrase in the Central Region have set a fetish priest’s shrine ablaze after he allegedly killed his girlfriend for ritual purposes.
According to reports, the suspect allegedly murdered the woman and removed some body parts, claiming they were required to serve his gods.
The incident sparked outrage among residents, who stormed the suspect’s house and shrine and set them on fire.
