A philanthropist, Nana Adasi Patrick, has launched a foundation in the Ahafo Region aimed at tackling youth unemployment and supporting vulnerable groups.

The initiative, named Adasi Social Action Philanthropies, was officially launched in Goaso.

Speaking to Adom News, Nana Adasi Patrick said the foundation will identify and support young people with special talents, while also providing apprenticeship training opportunities to help improve their livelihoods.

He highlighted that many young people in the region possess unique skills but lack the financial and institutional support needed to develop them into sustainable careers.

The philanthropist explained that the foundation has outlined measures to offer comprehensive assistance to beneficiaries as part of efforts to reduce unemployment in the region.

Beyond youth empowerment, Nana Adasi Patrick noted that the foundation will prioritise the welfare of women, providing targeted support to enhance their economic and social well-being.
