The round of fixtures, played from Friday, January 30 to Sunday, February 1, delivered several eye-catching scorelines, headlined by the end of Medeama SC’s long unbeaten run.

At the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex, Nations FC halted Medeama’s 17-match unbeaten streak with a spirited 2–1 victory. Kingsley Braye opened the scoring for the Yellow and Mauve side, but a brace from Nations FC captain Razak Simpson turned the contest on its head to hand the hosts all three points.

Saturday’s action saw Heart of Lions claim a famous 3–1 win over Asante Kotoko at the Kpando Sports Stadium. Goals from Asante Seedorf Afful, Fawzi Ali and Michael Ephson put the home side firmly in control, with Samba O’Neil pulling one back for Kotoko from the penalty spot.

At the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex in Tema Newtown, Vision FC were held to a 2–2 draw by Dreams FC. Dreams raced into an early lead through a John Antwi brace before Nana Kwesi Amoah and Mohammed Iddrisu responded to earn a point for the hosts.

Sunday’s fixtures were dominated by tightly contested encounters. Hearts of Oak and Bechem United played out a goalless draw at the University of Ghana Stadium, while Aduana FC and FC Samartex also shared the spoils in a 0–0 stalemate at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park in Dormaa.

Basake Holy Stars continued their fine home form with a 2–0 win over Berekum Chelsea at the AAK Park. Prince Opoku opened the scoring before an own goal from Michael Mensah Awuah sealed the victory.

Defending champions Bibiani GoldStars edged Swedru All Blacks 1–0 at DUN’s Park, with Kelvin Oppong netting a decisive late winner. Karela United also claimed a narrow 1–0 victory at the Aliu Mahama Stadium, courtesy of a late strike from Solomon Aboagye.
