The Ho Central Constituency Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Frank Ahaze, has publicly endorsed Kennedy Ohene Agyapong as the party’s strongest candidate to reclaim political power from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2028 general elections.

Speaking to Adom News at the ongoing 2026 NPP Presidential Primaries at Ho Ola Senior High School, Mr. Ahaze described the former Assin Central Member of Parliament as a bold, results-oriented leader with grassroots appeal and the financial independence needed to mount a formidable national campaign.

“Kennedy Agyapong is the best candidate to wrest power from the NDC in 2028,” Mr. Ahaze said. “He connects with ordinary Ghanaians, speaks their language, and has consistently demonstrated courage in addressing national issues.”

He highlighted Agyapong’s outspoken nature and track record in both politics and business as key strengths that could energize the party’s base and attract floating voters nationwide.

Mr. Ahaze also called on party supporters to foster unity at the constituency level, stressing that internal cohesion would be critical to the NPP’s success in the next election.

Kennedy Agyapong, a prominent businessman and longtime political figure within the NPP, continues to command significant grassroots support.

The Ho Central chairman’s endorsement adds to growing discussions within the party about its future leadership as it prepares for upcoming political contests.
