The Bryan Acheampong Campaign has dismissed reports of messages allegedly sent to delegates ahead of the New Patriotic Party’s presidential primaries, describing them as fake.

In a statement issued in Accra on Friday, January 30, 2026, the campaign urged delegates to disregard any circulating messages suggesting that Dr Bryan Acheampong had sent SMS communications related to money or Christmas gifts.

The campaign clarified that no such messages were authorised, stressing that they did not originate from Dr Acheampong or his campaign team. It therefore called on delegates to remain focused and avoid being distracted by what it described as deliberate attempts to mislead them during the crucial voting period.

The statement further reaffirmed the campaign’s commitment to discipline, transparency and integrity, urging party members to rely solely on official communications from Dr Bryan Acheampong’s verified platforms or the authorised campaign team.

According to the campaign, it remains committed to promoting unity and truth as guiding principles throughout the electoral process.
