Johnson Asiedu Nketia, Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has expressed optimism that the District Assemblies Common Fund disbursement this year will surpass amounts paid in previous years.
Speaking at the Prestia Huni-Valley Constituency, Mr. Asiedu Nketia said assembly members will also be duly compensated for the work they are doing in their respective communities.
He acknowledged that while some assembly members have already received their payments, others are yet to be paid.
The NDC Chairman assured that all outstanding payments will be settled, stressing the government’s commitment to supporting local governance and strengthening community-level development.
