Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has urged party supporters to remain patient and united despite not receiving ministerial appointments under the current administration.

Speaking at the Prestia Huni-Valley Constituency, Mr. Asiedu Nketia explained that the reduction in the number of ministers from 125 to 60 was a collective decision agreed upon ahead of former President John Dramani Mahama’s return to power.

He noted that the move inevitably meant not everyone who worked hard during the campaign could be appointed immediately.

According to Mr. Asiedu Nketia, those who have not yet been appointed should not feel sidelined, as future reshuffles could present opportunities.

He urged supporters to remain focused and committed, stressing that the government is performing well and needs the continued support of the party’s grassroots.
