Delegates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ahafo Region say they have already made up their minds ahead of the party’s flagbearership election scheduled for Saturday, January 31, 2026.
Speaking in an interview with Adom News, the delegates indicated that they have firmly decided on the candidates they intend to vote for, stressing that no individual or development is likely to sway their choices.
They affirmed that they will turn out in large numbers on election day to select the best candidate among the five aspirants to lead the party in its bid to wrestle power from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2028 general elections.
The delegates also expressed confidence that the flagbearership contest in the Ahafo Region will be free, fair, transparent, and peaceful, noting that a smooth process will help strengthen unity within the party after the polls.
