The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has issued an important notice to all applicants involved in the ongoing recruitment and enlistment exercise, urging them to take personal responsibility for staying updated on their application status.
According to the Service, applicants are strongly advised to regularly log in to the recruitment portal using their credentials—specifically the serial number and PIN provided on the voucher purchased—to check for updates on their application and screening process.
GNFS cautioned applicants not to rely solely on SMS notifications, explaining that critical updates may also be communicated via email or reflected directly on the recruitment portal.
Applicants are therefore encouraged to check their email inboxes frequently, including spam folders, to avoid missing important information.
The Service further directed applicants to log into the portal promptly to confirm their assigned screening centres.
Those who have been scheduled for screening are urged to report to their designated centres immediately to complete the process within the stipulated timeframe.
GNFS emphasised that failure to regularly check the portal and email may result in applicants missing their screening opportunity, which could affect their chances of progressing in the recruitment exercise.
