Adom TV, renowned for its strong commitment to promoting Christian values and wholesome family entertainment, treated its cherished viewers to an evening of music, drama and celebration at its annual Festival of Nine Lessons & Carols, held ahead of the Yuletide season.

The event opened on a soothing and uplifting note with performances by the Glorious Philharmonic Choir, whose rich harmonies and soul-stirring carol renditions immediately captivated the audience and set the tone for a spiritually refreshing evening.

A deeply emotional moment followed when gospel musician Mavis Asante paid tribute to the late Maame Tiwaa. Her moving renditions of Maame Tiwaa’s timeless songs, including Tenabea Foforo and Yɛn Kan Kyɛrɛ Yɛn Agya, drew sustained applause and resonated deeply with patrons.

The atmosphere shifted into high gear when award-winning gospel singer Piesie Esther mounted the stage. She delivered an electrifying performance that had the audience on their feet, transforming the venue into a vibrant celebration of praise and Christmas joy.

Dancehall artiste Epixode also thrilled patrons with a performance that stood out for its strong connection with the audience.

The night was further energised by performances from notable artistes, including Countryman Songo and Guru, who kept spirits high with their dynamic stage presence.

The highlight of the evening, however, was a compelling stage play depicting the birth of Jesus Christ. The drama featured an array of celebrated Kumawood stars, including Michael Afranie, Kala Kumasi, Christina Awuni, Kofi Adjorlolo, Oboy Siki and others, delivering a powerful reminder of the true meaning of Christmas.

Adding to the festive cheer, patrons were pleasantly surprised with gift packages from sponsors, rounding off what many described as a wholesome, spiritually enriching and thoroughly entertaining experience.
