The Member of Parliament for North Dayi, Joycelyn Tetteh, has commissioned a new ultramodern Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) Ultra-Premium Service Office to improve access to efficient transport-related services for residents.

Centrally located within the constituency, the facility allows residents to acquire driver’s licences, register vehicles, and access other DVLA services without having to travel long distances to neighbouring districts.
Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Joycelyn Tetteh described the project as a major step toward enhancing public service delivery in the constituency. She emphasised that the centre will save residents time and money while promoting compliance with road safety regulations.
“This ultramodern DVLA office is a testament to our commitment to bringing essential services closer to the people. It will support our youth, commercial drivers, and vehicle owners with timely and professional service,” she said.
DVLA CEO Julius Niikwei commended the MP for her role in making the centre a reality, noting that the office is equipped with advanced technology to ensure fast and reliable service while reducing pressure on DVLA facilities in neighbouring districts.
Traditional leaders, transport operators, assembly members, and community members who attended the event applauded the MP for her continuous efforts to improve development infrastructure in North Dayi.
The new facility complements ongoing initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of life and improving service accessibility across the constituency.
