Hohoe United head coach Abdul Rahim Tijani has lauded his team following a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Asante Kotoko in Matchday 13 of the Ghana Premier League at the Hohoe Sports Stadium.

The game’s only goal came from William Oduro, who expertly converted a free-kick to secure all three points for the newly promoted side.

Reflecting on the win, Tijani attributed the success to his team’s preparation, focus, and determination.

“First, we have to congratulate the boys. They did so well. Hard work pays off, and we really worked for this,” he said.

“We studied their previous games, and I told my boys to give their all because that could help us survive in the league or achieve our target. The game plan worked perfectly for us,” Tijani added.

The victory lifts Hohoe United to eighth place on the league table, boosting confidence as the season progresses.

Hohoe United will next face Berekum Chelsea in Matchday 14 at the Golden City Park.
