The Women At Risk International Foundation (WARIF) is extending its global “No Tolerance” campaign to Ghana, in partnership with the Springboard Road Show Foundation (SRSF), to stage a nationwide “No Violence — End GBV Now” march on Saturday, December 6.

The Ghana edition is part of a worldwide mobilization aimed at raising awareness on gender-based violence, strengthening community action, and amplifying advocacy for the protection of women and girls.

Building on WARIF’s global success, SRSF will lead national coordination, stakeholder engagement, and community participation. The Ark Foundation Ghana has also joined the effort, contributing expertise in survivor support, legal advocacy, and public education.

The march will start at the University of Ghana, Legon campus, proceed through the Okponglo corridor into East Legon via Lagos Avenue, and return for a closing rally. Organizers say the route reflects shared responsibility among academic, civic, and residential communities.

“This march is a national call to conscience,” said Comfort Ocran, Executive Director of SRSF. “On December 6, we stand together to choose dignity, safety, and a Ghana where violence has no place.”

Organizers are inviting youth groups, women’s organisations, student bodies, corporate institutions, faith groups, traditional leaders, development partners, and the general public to join the national march and support efforts to end gender-based violence.
