Member of Parliament for Kumawu, Ernest Yaw Anim, has donated farming equipment to support the upcoming Farmers’ Day celebrations in the constituency.
The items donated included wellington boots, cutlasses, and knapsack sprayers.
Mr. Anim made the donation during a meeting with Sekyere Kumawu District Chief Executive (DCE), Mr. Kwasi Amankwa, in Kumawu. He emphasised the importance of supporting farmers to boost food production in the area and pledged to continue working with key stakeholders to improve the livelihoods of constituents.
The MP also held discussions with the DCE to strengthen collaboration with the district assembly. The talks focused on evaluating ongoing projects, identifying emerging needs, and aligning development interventions to ensure sustainable growth across the constituency.
They deliberated on strategies to accelerate infrastructure development, enhance social services, and improve the welfare of residents.
In response, Mr. Amankwa thanked the MP for his support, noting that all political actors in the area were working together to improve living conditions.
He stressed the need for effective collaboration to achieve the common goal of enhancing livelihoods in the constituency.
