The Chief Executive of the Ghana Shippers’ Authority (GSA), Professor Ransford Gyampo, has stated that he has no regrets working with President John Dramani Mahama, describing him as a listening and open-minded leader.

Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen show, Prof. Gyampo said President Mahama encourages free expression and constructive criticism, adding that “Ghanaians are free under his presidency.”

Prof. Gyampo praised Mahama’s leadership philosophy, noting that good governance is about efficiently managing scarce resources to produce development that citizens can feel.

“I have no regrets supporting President Mahama. He has made significant efforts, and I believe that when someone is selfless and surrounds themselves with the right people, they can succeed. Before he became president, I asked him why he wanted the position after previously serving. He told me he wanted to bring about change so that his successor could continue the progress. He aims to reset the country.

“Good governance involves the efficient management of scarce resources to produce developmental outcomes that are tangibly reflected in the lives of people. When governance is effective, it is evident in the well-being of the citizens. Ghanaians have witnessed this. He is a listening president,” he noted.
