The US tour of Burna Boy, the singer behind the hit No Sign of Weakness, including tonight’s scheduled performance on November 28, 2025, at The Armoury in Minneapolis, was abruptly cancelled after reportedly poor ticket sales.
Ticketmaster confirmed the last-minute cancellation on its website on Thursday. The show in Minneapolis will not take place, while another concert scheduled for December 1, 2025, in Chicago was also affected.
Tour organisers have not provided a specific reason for the cancellations. However, the development comes amid public criticism of Burna Boy following an incident in Colorado, where he walked out on a fan who fell asleep during his performance.
A viral video of the incident sparked controversy, which intensified after the singer responded to critics during an Instagram Live session, saying he “only wants supporters who buy his tickets and not fans.” It was later reported that the woman who fell asleep during his show was grieving a recent personal loss.
Confirming the cancellations, Burna Boy shared a post on his Instagram story on Friday morning, including a direct link from Ticketmaster showing that both concerts had been cancelled.
