Matchday 12 of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League delivered narrow wins, late drama and crucial points across the country as fixtures wrapped up on Sunday.

At the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, Hearts of Oak clawed their way back to winning form with a tight 1–0 victory over Vision FC. Mawuli Wayo’s well-timed first-half header proved decisive, handing the Phobians a much-needed boost.

Basake Holy Stars also secured a hard-earned home win, edging Nations FC 1–0 at the AAK II Park. After a cagey first half, Prince Tweneboah struck in the 80th minute to seal the points.

Bechem United suffered a disappointing 2–1 defeat to Hohoe United at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park. Augustine Okrah opened the scoring for Bechem, but the visitors roared back after the interval through a quickfire brace from Anane Keke David in the 48th and 60th minutes.

At Golden City Park, Berekum Chelsea were held to a stalemate as they shared the spoils with FC Samartex in a goalless draw.

Defending champions Bibiani GoldStars claimed a narrow 1–0 victory over Aduana FC, thanks to Kumi Attah’s composed 19th-minute penalty.

Heart of Lions and Karela United also played out a scoreless draw at the Kpando Sports Stadium, while Swedru All Blacks and Young Apostles produced another 0–0 result at the Swedru Stadium.

The most dramatic game of the weekend unfolded at the Baba Yara Stadium, where Asante Kotoko fought back from a two-goal halftime deficit to draw 2–2 with Medeama SC. Derrick Fordjour opened the scoring for Medeama inside five minutes, before Yussif Mubarik’s penalty doubled their advantage. But Kotoko rallied after the break, with Peter Amidu Acquah pulling one back on 59 minutes and captain Ndongani Samba Gilbani striking deep into stoppage time to rescue a point.

The final fixture of the round comes on Monday, when managerless Eleven Wonders host Dreams FC at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium. Kickoff is at 15:00 GMT.

With one match still to be played, Medeama SC, Heart of Lions, Aduana FC and Bibiani GoldStars currently make up the top four. At the opposite end, Dreams FC, Bechem United and Eleven Wonders remain in the relegation places.
