Asante Kotoko coach Karim Zito is aiming for a crucial victory when his side faces Medeama SC this Sunday.
The Porcupine Warriors will welcome the Yellow and Mauve to the Baba Yara Stadium for their Matchday 12 clash in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League.
Kotoko comes into the encounter seeking redemption after their unbeaten run was snapped with a 2-1 loss to Basake Holy Stars.
Speaking ahead of the fixture, Zito expressed determination to secure all three points despite the personal twist of facing his former colleague, Ibrahim Tanko.
“It’s unfortunate that my brother, Tanko Ibrahim, is meeting me with his Medeama SC side at this time, but I’ll have to beat him on Sunday,” he told the club’s media.
The game is set to kick off at 16:00 GMT.
