The grandchildren of the late former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, delivered a touching tribute during her funeral on Friday, November 28, celebrating her enduring influence and profound impact on their lives.
In their emotional message, they described her as their “hero,” noting that the memories, lessons, and legacy she left behind would forever guide them.
“She is and will always be my hero. She leaves behind memories that time can never erase… The greatest way we can honour her is by living fully, boldly, and joyfully as she did. Now is our turn to follow her lead,” they said.
They reflected on the strength, resilience, and confidence she instilled in them, noting that she redefined their understanding of womanhood. Through her example, they learned that being a woman meant embracing resilience, vibrancy, humour, grace, and one’s own power.
