The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has formally released its operational guidelines for the upcoming presidential primary, scheduled for Saturday, January 31, 2026.
In a letter dated November 21, 2025, and signed by William Yamoah, Secretary to the Presidential Elections Committee, the party informed key stakeholders that the guidelines had been finalised following extensive deliberations and resolutions by the committee.
Issued from the party’s headquarters, the communication expressed appreciation for the “invaluable insights, constructive engagement, and demonstrated cooperation” shown by aspirants and stakeholders during recent meetings.
The committee noted that such contributions have helped strengthen the integrity and efficiency of the party’s electoral processes.
The letter emphasised that the guidelines are intended to ensure the smooth conduct of the primary.
