The Youth Wing of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Kpandai Constituency of the Northern Region has rejected the High Court’s order for a rerun of the parliamentary election, describing the decision as unfair and unconstitutional.

The group argued that the petitioner had challenged results from only 41 polling stations, and therefore ordering a rerun across the entire constituency exceeds the scope of the petition.

Addressing the media, NPP Kpandai Constituency Youth Organizer Joseph Laadir called the ruling unjust, saying it does not reflect the principles of fairness and due process.

He emphasized that the youth are prepared for any outcome but remain confident of victory should a rerun take place.

He also urged supporters to remain steadfast, calm, and committed, assuring them that the NPP would prevail even if the court does not reverse its decision.
