The Member of Parliament for Hohoe, Thomas Worlanyo Tsekpo, has launched the Agric for All initiative at Fodome, aimed at improving agricultural productivity and strengthening food security across the constituency.
As part of the programme, the MP presented multi-purpose farm tractors to communities including Fodome, Glebi, and Wli to enhance access to mechanised farming. The intervention is expected to reduce the burden of manual labour and improve crop yields.

Mr. Tsekpo also distributed 4,000 bags of fertiliser, 50kg × 60 bags of rice seedlings, and 5kg × 1,000 bags of maize seedlings to farmers across the Agumatsato Enclave, Gbi Traditional Area, and Alavanyo Traditional Area. The support is aimed at promoting early planting and expanding production capacity.
Speaking at the launch, the MP said the Agric for All initiative is part of his broader agenda to transform the agricultural sector in Hohoe by equipping farmers with modern tools and quality inputs.
The Dufia of Fodome, Togbe Zeh II, urged beneficiaries to use the fertilisers responsibly. “Do not hide them or smuggle them across borders,” he cautioned.
Farmers welcomed the initiative, expressing gratitude for the MP’s continued support and timely assistance ahead of the planting season.
