AFC Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola has played down speculation over Antoine Semenyo’s future, despite reported interest from several Premier League heavyweights.

The Ghana international, who recently penned a long-term deal reportedly containing a £65 million release clause, has attracted attention from Liverpool and Manchester United, with Tottenham and Arsenal also reportedly monitoring his progress.

Semenyo has been in fine form this season, contributing to nine goals in the league, a tally only bettered by Manchester City striker Erling Haaland.

Speaking to reporters on Friday, Iraola said, “We are in November. Antoine [Semenyo] is our player; he will continue to be our player. In January, you can ask me about the market.

“But right now, I am not worried about the next market. I am not worried about the situation. In January, we will talk about whatever happened, the players we need,” he added.

Bournemouth are keeping a close eye on Semenyo’s fitness ahead of their home clash with West Ham United this afternoon, following a minor injury he picked up during the recent international break.
