Josef Emmanuel Sarpong has stepped down as head coach of Eleven Wonders, ending his brief stint with the club less than a month after taking charge.
The experienced tactician, who previously managed Ebusua Dwarfs and Great Olympics, was appointed on November 2 to replace Nii Odartey Lamptey following the team’s poor start to the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League campaign.
His departure follows successive defeats to Aduana FC, Vision FC and Medeama SC, results that deepened the club’s early-season struggles.
While Eleven Wonders are yet to issue an official statement, sources indicate that internal disputes and lingering structural challenges played a significant role in Sarpong’s decision to leave.
The exit adds to the club’s instability, forcing management to begin the search for an interim coach. Wonders remain the only side without a victory after 10 league matches this season.
They face Hohoe United this weekend as Matchday 11 fixtures continue.
