The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced that it has received financial clearance to pay the salaries of 6,249 teachers recruited in 2024.
In a statement signed by GES Head of Public Relations, Daniel Fenyi, the Service said the approval, granted by the Ministry of Finance, allows it to finalise all processes necessary to place the affected staff on the mechanised payroll.
GES noted that while the clearance expires on December 31, 2025, management is working to ensure that all eligible teachers are fully processed in time for their November 2025 salary payments.
The Service expressed appreciation to its staff for their dedication and reiterated its commitment to ensuring the timely and accurate disbursement of salaries.
