2026 WCQ: Alidu Seidu starts as Otto Addo announces Black Stars’ squad for Comoros game

Ghana head coach Otto Addo has made three changes to his starting lineup ahead of the decisive 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Comoros.

Alidu Seidu, Jonas Adjetey, and Ebenezer Annan have all been drafted into the starting XI, replacing Caleb Yirenkyi, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, and Gideon Mensah. Addo is expected to maintain a 3-4-3 setup for the crucial encounter.

Goalkeeper Benjamin Asare keeps his place between the sticks, while Jonas Adjetey, Alexander Djiku, and Mohammed Salisu will marshal the defence. Seidu and Annan are set to operate as wing-backs, providing width on both flanks.

In midfield, Thomas Partey will continue to anchor alongside Kwasi Sibo, offering balance and control in the middle of the park.

The attacking trio of Antoine Semenyo, Mohammed Kudus, and Jordan Ayew will lead the line as Ghana aims to finish the qualifiers in style.

The Black Stars head into the fixture needing all three points to seal qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

With 22 points from nine games — seven wins, one draw, and one defeat — Otto Addo’s men are on the brink of booking their ticket to next summer’s tournament in Canada, Mexico, and the United States.
