
The Member of Parliament for Bosome Freho in the Ashanti Region, Nana Kwame Asafo Agyei Ayeh, has paid the full prospectus expenses for 1,468 Junior High School leavers entering Senior High School this year.
The support package includes essential items such as chop boxes, trunks, and books for each beneficiary student.
So far, more than 600 students from the first and second zones of the constituency have received their share of the donation. The first session, held at Tebeso Zone, covered about 400 students, while today’s distribution in the Dunkura and Nsuaem No. 2 Zone is targeting another 400 students.
The event drew massive attendance from students, traditional authorities, parents, and officials from the education directorate.
Addressing the gathering, Nana Asafo Agyei Ayeh urged the students to prioritize their education above all else.
He reiterated his commitment to promoting quality and enviable education in the constituency, stressing that one of his core reasons for going to Parliament was to ensure Bosome Freho makes strides in the educational sector.
The lawmaker also called on parents to complement his efforts by contributing their quota towards securing a brighter future for their children.
