Asante Akyem Central MCE inspects ongoing development projects

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Asante Akyem Central, Ebenezer Ekow Aidoo, has conducted an inspection tour of ongoing development projects within the municipality.

In an interview with Adom News, Mr. Aidoo explained that the exercise aimed to monitor the progress of Assembly-funded initiatives, ensure quality delivery, and address potential delays or lapses by contractors.

He expressed satisfaction with the standard of work being carried out and commended both contractors and local communities for their dedication.

The MCE noted that the inspection aligns with the Assembly’s broader strategy to strengthen monitoring mechanisms for all development projects across the municipality.

Accompanied by a team of Assembly officials, Mr. Aidoo toured several sites, including classroom blocks, a mechanized borehole, an Assembly bungalow, markets, a bridge, and a Community-Based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compound.

Meanwhile, the Asante Akyem Central NDC constituency chairman, Sumalia Ibrahim, also spoke to Adom News, applauding the MCE and the Assembly for their commendable efforts to improve the lives of residents.
