Mz Nana crowned Best Diaspora Gospel Artiste at 2025 Ghana Music Awards Europe

Ghanaian gospel singer Nana Yaa Otchere, popularly known as Mz Nana, has been honoured with the prestigious Best Diaspora Gospel Artiste of the Year award at the 25th Ghana Music Awards Europe (GMAEU), held in Gent, Belgium, on Saturday, September 20, 2025.

The award celebrates her dedication to spreading the gospel through music and her growing influence in the diaspora gospel music scene.

Overjoyed by the recognition, Mz Nana took to her official social media platforms to express gratitude to God, her family, team, and fans for their unwavering support.

“To God be the glory for great things he’s done and greater things he will do. Thank you, family, team, friends, and fans, for believing in the vision and supporting the cause to add another award recognition… Let’s continue to work hard and spread the gospel through music,” she wrote.

Mz Nana is a dynamic gospel artiste, songwriter, and minister with a passion for using music as a tool for evangelism and inspiration. She is the founder of Nana Yaa Otchere Ministries, an outreach platform that combines worship, prayer, and music to uplift lives and share the Christian message.

Recently, she donated sewing machines and hair dryers to graduates of the Eno Baatanpa Foundation in Asamankese to empower them in their dressmaking and hairdressing careers.
