Ghana forward Kamaldeen Sulemana was on target for the second successive match as Atalanta battled to a 1-1 draw with Juventus at the Allianz Stadium in Turin on Sunday.
Sulemana, who netted his first goal for the Bergamo club in last weekend’s victory over Torino, opened the scoring just before halftime.
The 24-year-old dazzled his way past two defenders with trademark pace and skill before cutting inside and firing a powerful left-footed strike into the net.
Juventus clawed their way back into the contest in the 78th minute when Juan Cabal converted to level the score.
Moments later, Atalanta’s task became even harder as midfielder Marten de Roon was shown a red card.
Despite being reduced to ten men, Gian Piero Gasperini’s side held firm to secure a valuable point in Turin.
Sulemana has now scored twice in his opening five Serie A appearances for Atalanta and will be hoping to extend his fine form in midweek when the Italian side host Club Brugge in the Champions League at the Gewiss Stadium.
The winger is also tipped for a call-up to Ghana’s squad for next month’s decisive 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Central African Republic and Comoros.
