Chief Executive Officer of Bibiani GoldStars, Akwasi Adu, says the club remains confident about their chances of overturning a two-goal deficit against Algeria’s JS Kabylie in the CAF Champions League.
The Ghana Premier League champions suffered a 2-0 defeat in the first leg of the preliminary round at the Accra Sports Stadium last Saturday.
Speaking ahead of the return fixture at the Hocine Aït Ahmed Stadium, Adu stressed that the team has devised strategies for a strong comeback.

“We are mapping out our plans and strategies to keep the players on their toes when we get to Kabylie,” he told Citi Sports. “We are not perturbed by the results from the last match. Football is unpredictable. A club came and scored 2-0 at our home, but we believe we can turn the results around.”
The decisive second leg is scheduled for Sunday, September 28, in Tizi Ouzou, with kick-off at 19:00 GMT.
Meanwhile, the first batch of the GoldStars contingent, including a 10-member technical team, departed Ghana on Thursday ahead of the clash.
