The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Christian Tetteh Yohuno, has issued a stern warning to criminal elements across Ghana, affirming that the Police Service will remain unwavering in its mission to bring offenders to justice.
Speaking at a security briefing in Accra on Wednesday, September 24, Mr. Yohuno urged the public to assist law enforcement by providing credible information on suspicious individuals and activities.
“I want to take this opportunity to call on all members of the public to support the police with information for successful investigations. Let us all be vigilant and report any suspicious persons or activities to the police,” he appealed.
The IGP assured that the Service would act on reliable intelligence and continue to reward individuals who provide information that aids ongoing investigations.
He also delivered a strong warning to those involved in criminal activities. “I want to assure you that the police will continue to make life uncomfortable for criminal elements in our society. We will pursue you relentlessly until you are brought to justice,” Mr. Yohuno stressed.
