Sarkodie assures NSA of compliance ahead of Rapperholic 2025

Ghanaian rap icon Sarkodie has pledged full compliance with stadium regulations ahead of the 2025 Rapperholic Homecoming concert at the Baba Yara Stadium, following warnings from the National Sports Authority (NSA).

The assurance comes after NSA Director General Yaw Ampofo Ankrah cautioned on Asempa FM’s Ultimate Sports Show on Wednesday, September 24, that sanctions would be imposed if the stadium’s pitch is damaged during the event.

Responding via X (formerly Twitter), Sarkodie stated:
“The rules were set from day one, and we are not ready to break them.”

Organisers expect thousands of fans to attend the concert in Kumasi and are coordinating closely with the NSA to ensure the venue remains in top condition for upcoming football fixtures.

Meanwhile, the NSA revealed plans to acquire pitch covers for the country’s major stadiums to protect playing surfaces during non-football events.
