Dr. Adutwum can win 2028 election for NPP – Gyataba

Leader of tbe United Front Party, Nana Agyenim Boateng, popularly known as Gyataba, has tipped Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum as the perfect candidate to win power for the NPP in the 2028 general election.

According to him, among the five aspirants vying for the NPP flagbearership, Dr. Adutwum, a former Education Minister, can easily sell himself to Ghanaians to win power.

In an exclusive interview with Adom News, Gyataba said Dr. Adutwum’s track record is unmatched and that if NPP delegates don’t base their decision on money and vote for him, the party will come back to power.

“Recently, I’ve heard Dr. Tandoh, who was employed by Dr. Adutwum in the Education Ministry, making false accusations on airwaves that Adutwum is a dictatorial leader. Dr. Tandoh, if you can’t be grateful to Adutwum, don’t disgrace him with false information,” he stated.

Gyataba urged Dr. Bawumia to advise his followers to focus on his capabilities rather than attacking others, as unity is crucial after the conference for the general election.

He referenced the Mike Oquaye report, which suggested that the NPP needs a candidate from the Ashanti region with humility, like J.A. Kufuor, and believes Dr. Adutwum fits this description.

Gyataba charged the NPP National Executive Council (NEC) to publish the Mike Oquaye report for public scrutiny and urged the party to consider Dr. Adutwum’s candidacy, given his potential to win power for the party.
