Asunafo North Assembly Members demand better motorbikes from gov’t

Asunafo North Assembly Members Protest Poor-Quality Motorbikes from Government

Assembly members in the Asunafo North Municipality of the Ahafo Region have raised concerns about the poor quality of motorbikes provided to them by the government for their work.

The assembly member for the Akrodie Manhyia Electoral Area, Samuel Antoh, told Adom News at Goaso that, over the years, the motorbikes procured for them to aid their duties have weak bodies and easily break down.

He noted that the government pays significantly more for each motorbike than the prices on the open market, raising further concerns about the value and quality of the bikes.

Mr. Antoh suggested that the government should either provide assembly members with funds to purchase their own motorbikes or ensure that suppliers deliver stronger, more durable vehicles that offer better value for money.
