The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) on Wednesday, August 13, led a delegation to commiserate with the National Democratic Congress (NDC) over the helicopter crash that claimed eight lives, including two Ministers.
The visit to the NDC headquarters marked exactly a week after the tragic incident that has thrown the nation into shock and mourning.
The NDC National Chairman, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, on behalf of the party, received the NPP members.
During their interaction, Mr. Kodua apologised to the NDC leadership over remarks made by some NPP members regarding the incident.
Mr. Kodua appealed that any individual comments must not be taken as the NPP’s official position, stressing that death or the circumstance is not one anybody should even wish for their worst enemy.
For their part, the NDC expressed gratitude to the NPP for their kind words and commiseration visit during this difficult period.
