Antoine Semenyo is setting his sights on an even better campaign with AFC Bournemouth as the 2025/26 Premier League season approaches.
The 25-year-old enjoyed a breakthrough year last season, registering a career-best 11 goals and five assists to help the Cherries secure a ninth-place finish.
Now, with a new season just weeks away, Semenyo is aiming to raise the bar.
“I want to take my game to the next level. And, I feel like this season, coming, I’ll be able to do that with the team that we have. So I’m looking forward to it,” Semenyo told the club’s media.
The Ghana international also commended Bournemouth’s preseason preparations, describing them as “good” and expressing confidence in the team’s readiness for the challenges ahead.
“Preparations have been good,” he said.
Semenyo, who recently committed his future to the club with a new deal running until 2030, played a key role in Bournemouth’s 3-0 win over Everton in the Premier League Summer Series in the United States.
He is expected to feature again when Bournemouth face Manchester United in their next preseason clash early Thursday morning.
Semenyo will be hoping to make a strong start to the campaign when Bournemouth travel to Anfield to face Liverpool in their Premier League opener on August 19.
