Man allegedly murdered, buried under dried grass at Gomoa Mamfam

Residents of Gomoa Mamfam, a suburb of Fetteh Kakraba in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region, have been left in shock following the discovery of a man believed to be in his early 30s who is  suspected to have been murdered and buried under dried grass.

The lifeless body was found in front of an uncompleted building after residents noticed a foul smell in the area.

Speaking to Adom News, a resident, Napoleon Mensah, said they became suspicious when a strong stench persisted for days.

Upon investigating, they discovered the decomposing body hidden beneath dried green grass near the building.

“The odor became unbearable, so we decided to trace it. That’s when we found the body covered with dried grass,” he recounted.

The Awutu Bereku District Police Command has since visited the scene and conveyed the body for burial, as it had already begun to decompose.
